Dr Mark Weingarth

Dr Weingarth graduated from Sydney University in January 1980 and spent the next 3 years working in Sydney in Companion Pet practice.

In 1983 he left Australia and spent 3 years traveling and working in companion animal practices around UK followed by 2 years in an inner south London Clinic in Kennington.

In 1989 he married Dr Seavers and they owned a clinic in Petts Wood, Kent until 1992 when they returned to Australia and purchased this clinic in July.

His major Veterinary interest include Surgery, Internal Medicine, Skin disease and Practice Management.

Dr Aine Seavers

Dr Seavers graduated from Dublin University in 1985 and spent the next 2 years working in Dublin in Companion Small Animal Practice.

In 1987 she left Ireland and spent the next two years working in a busy London practice dealing exclusively with small animals.
In 1989 Aine married  Mark Weingarth and they owned a clinic in Petts Wood, Kent UK  until 1992 when they both returned to Australia and purchased this clinic in July of 1992

Primary Veterinary interest is the investigation and treatment of  all skin conditions. A full and detailed work up of skin conditions is provided at the clinic. Other interests include gastro-intestinal disease, nutritional concepts including psycho-dietetics (the effects of individual foods on behaviour and seizure control) and Emergency Medicine. The German Shepherd is one of her favourite breeds having grown up with a grandfather who bred and trained award- winning German Shepherd Police Dogs in Ireland.

Dr Seavers is the author of several peer reviewed papers, see the Articles link on the left for details.

She has also designed several novel techniques to treat standard skin, neurological or traumatic conditions including the “Stopica” coats for allergic skin disease and skin wounds, cylindrical heat packs to treat  hypothermia cases, the use of the Omentum to replace a destroyed abdominal wall, the modified “Seavers’ Slide” to replace dislocated hips and the use of anti-anxiety medication in Dementia in dogs.

Aine has 2 daughters, owns 2 Siamese cats and one mini Dachshund that rules the whole household..
